Position Overview:
As a member of the Client Service Team, the Associate Financial Planner collaborates with the Wealth Managers and provides support in analyzing and synthesizing data to build the client’s Wealth Management Plan. The Financial Planner is responsible for data gathering, modeling, case design, scenario building and proposing solutions to complex scenarios in the development of the Wealth Management Plan. This role acts as another point of contact and liaison between the client, other professionals and the Wealth Managers. The Financial Planner participates in meetings and collaborates with the Wealth Managers in the decision-making process.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gather, organize and synthesize client data within a financial planning context
- Prepare client financial plans and presentations for review by Wealth Managers
- Prepare financial scenarios
- Respond to client requests via phone and email promptly, efficiently and perform account administration in support of these requests
- Ultimate ownership for resolution of all client inquiries
- Administer client account transfers and account paperwork
- Participate in projects (ad hoc and long term) and own to completion
- Interface with client third-party administrators, attorneys, accountants, and custodians
- Prepare client trades for review by Wealth Managers
- Analyze client situations and propose solutions in the wealth management planning process
- Liaison between the support staff and Wealth Managers
- Attend client meetings in a technical, supporting and learning role
- Perform other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Financial Planning or Economics
- Related professional experience
- Series 65, CFP (highly preferred)
- Familiarity with Tamarac Advisor View, Tamarac CRM (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Detail-oriented, accurate, organized, time-management, able to set priorities
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Client first attitude, excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter, takes initiative
- Team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others
- Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment
