In your role as an Assistant Test Management Officer, you will support a variety of Department of Defense weapon systems programs within Redstone Test Center’s Environmental Component Test Directorate (ECTD), Joint Test Management Office (JTMO).
What you’ll do all day:
Work as part of a team.
Assist TMO in design, management, and oversight of the Joint Test Management Office processes.
Lead Test Coordinators, Program Integrators and the JTMO Ammunition Test Coordinator.
Coordinate workload and align Test Coordinator skills to projects.
Work with staff to ensure GFEBS, ADSS, CIMS, and PMM resources are allocated and updated per the appropriate process.
Ensure oversight and accountability on A&E tracking and disposition.
Minimum requirements for this position:
Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in project management, finance, business, engineering, or related discipline from accredited college/university and 6 years of experience in program finance or project management, including experience developing plans, budgets and schedules to meet project requirements; providing project status with regard to funding, schedule, and milestones.
Strong leadership skills and experience.
Experience in development and implementation of processes and policy.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Government security clearance.
Must be a US Citizen.
Desired skills and experience for this position:
Master’s Degree preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP).
Lean Six Sigma experience.
